Silk worm in Prato

I made this silkworm because in this silos there was the color for paint the tissues (cotton, silk..). This silos had been used by a textile factory in Prato. This city is famous for the textile industry. Since ages the man exploits the silkworms for having their silk. Respect for the Silkworm! :)

Con SiloGismo, FREeSHOUT!? recupera due silos, costruiti come cisterne d’acqua all’inizio degli anni ’80 in seguito a un settembre di siccità e poi utilizzati nell’industria tessile per raccogliere l’acqua utilizzata per tingere le stoffe, e li affida alle mani degli artisti Remed e Andreco. Due silos abbandonati che tornano a vivere con nuova funzione, due tele a tre dimensioni.
